QuickBooks Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 Basic with Hardware from Intuit is a downloadable Windows software program for your desktop or notebook for processing retail sales transactions. QuickBooks Point of Sale enables you to ring sales, accept credit cards, and manage inventory in real-time. You can set up a payments account to process credit cards within QuickBooks POS.

This 12th version of QuickBooks POS operates faster than previous versions, offers better readability with an improved visual design, and enables you to work on sales receipts, reports, and more at the same time. Moreover, it allows for backup storage of more than 4GB and delivers improved keyboard shortcuts.

With peripherals sold separately from Intuit, you can quickly scan physical goods with a bar code scanner or process credit and debit card payments using a pin pad card reader. In addition, QuickBooks POS can import data from Microsoft Excel and transfer data to your QuickBooks Pro, Premier, or Enterprise for bookkeeping and billing.

Included with the software is the Star TSP143 Receipt Printer, the MMF Val-u-Line Cash Drawer with a cable, the Honeywell 1300G, the MagTek 210401110, the GoPayment Reader, and one roll of printer paper.
